JOB DESCRIPTION
This position involves working in the MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing & Fire) Design Engineering Team at XS CAD s Global Delivery Centre at Andheri in Mumbai.
XS CAD s MEP Design & Engineering Team consists of skilled professionals including Mechanical Electrical & Plumbing Engineers with varied experience. This team at XS CAD delivers core Building Services Design Solutions to MEP Clients across the world including one of the largest.
XS CAD has had the privilege of delivering MEP Services for hundreds of projects over the past 15 years including Hospitals Airports Stadia Educational Institutes Commercial as well as Residential Building Structures.
This job specifically involves the following key roles and responsibilities
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of MEP Design & Engineering
Setting up and obtaining results from models
Knowledge of CFD principles to identify errors and potential issues.
Work to current legislation and codes of practice for various building types based on client brief and guidelines.
Working independently on calculations and markups as per requirements
This job also involves the following aspects
Ability to independently communicate with clients stakeholders leaders and peers in written and spoken English.
Ability to Independently creating models and performing calculations using different software.
Ability to display Leadership skills and mentor Junior Engineers with respect.
Ability to get trained on and work on newer design Software.
Ability to undertake offshore visit to clients offices if required for detailed training and onetoone sessions.
Display of positive attitudes like flexibility collaborative nature and empathy.
Willingness to accept and implement constructive feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant technical qualifications.
Minimum 5 years of experience in CFD modelling and Simulation for Car Park projects.
Experience with Pyrosim and FDS
Experience working on international projects.
Experience of using MS Office
- Proven experience of having successfully managed Client communication independently.
