Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and customerfocused individual to join our team as a Cashier. The ideal candidate will have a knack for precise financial transactions excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage a variety of cashierrelated tasks efficiently. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate handling of cash managing banking activities and providing a positive checkout experience for customers.

Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

• Transaction Handling: Process sales transactions receive payments issue receipts and ensure all transactions are accurate and efficient.
  
• Cashier Team Management: Assist in managing the cashier team including scheduling shifts training new team members and ensuring a high level of accuracy and customer service.
  
• Banking Activities: Oversee daily banking activities including depositing daily sales managing change and reconciling any discrepancies.
  
• Petty Cash Management: Handle petty cash funds including disbursing funds for approved expenses and maintaining accurate records.
  
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service addressing customer queries and resolving any issues at the point of sale.
  
• Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures maintaining the security of the cash register and transactions.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cashier role or similar financial position.
  
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education in finance accounting or related field is a plus.
  
• Location: Must be able to commute to Anna Nagar Chennai Tamil Nadu.
