Cardiac Anaesthesia

Overview

• Administer anaesthesia to patients according to established protocols
• Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anaesthesia levels as necessary
• Collaborate with surgeons nurses and other medical professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Evaluate patients medical histories and develop anaesthesia plans accordingly
• Educate patients and their families about anaesthesia and answer any questions they may have
• Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate care

• Medical degree and completion of an anaesthesiology residency program
• Board certification in anaesthesiology
• Valid medical license
• Strong knowledge of anaesthesia drugs techniques and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to remain calm and focused in highpressure situations

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Manual dexterity and handeye coordination

• Hospital operating rooms and other medical facilities
• May be exposed to infectious diseases and other hazardous materials
