About the Property:

It is a magnificent domaine in Mougins privately owned.

The project:

We are looking for an experienced & professional Butler willing to take a seasonal contract which if both sides are happy could become a permanent contract CDI. There is also a possibility of getting a permanent contract straight away.

The position is to be filled in as soon as possible. The team is willing to find the suitable candidate and going through a proper recruitment process. You will be under the supervision of the Villa Manager.

The duties of the Butler will be as follows:

We are looking for someone who has a strong sense of service generally speaking and who has a very good eye for detail. You know exactly what needs to be done in order to deliver a proper and high end service.

You will also have a very good memory to understand the owners habits and make sure that they always feel comfortable while eating. You will be their direct contact and everything service related will be on your shoulders.

You are used to work in private villas for VIPs and you understand the high standards that need to be met.

More precisely you will be in charge of :

• Setting up the dining table during meal time plates & cutlery according to preferences
• Carrying out informal (casual) plated/buffet style service during meal time
• Serving wine and other beverages to the owners & guests
• Doing some groceries for the Villa for the kitchen when the Chef or the Cook needs a hand on buying some products buying or collecting some items for the owners if needed.
• Preparing light breakfast for owners from time to time pancakes light salads etc
• Doing light errands going to supermarkets for groceries etc.
• From time to time chauffeuring guests/owners to appointments airports etc. This is really rare since there is already a Chauffeur in the property.

Of course this is not the exhaustive list of responsibilities. You are expected to be flexible in this regard.

Desired Profile

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position & environment
• You have significant experience in Villas or Luxury Restaurants / Hotels is also welcome
• Prior Maitre DHotel or Head Waiter experience ( ideally 5star Michelin star restaurants super yachts level knowledge etc)
• You are detail orientated and have extensive knowledge of service and caring for luxury materials
• You are very confident in serving food wine and champagne
• You must be very autonomous polyvalent & dynamic and able to report and respect your hierarchy at the same time
• You are a petfriendly person who is comfortable around pets on the property
• Hardworking with a cando positive attitude
• You have great soft skills as an individual for this position soft skills are more important than hard skills.
• You are a smiling person you like to work in a team and you are discrete. You have a positive attitude.
• You are always on time and present well you take care of your appearance
• You have a real sense of human relations and communication comes with an ease to you. You are a team player
• You are polite discreet & respect the confidentiality of the property
• You MUST speak English Other languages are a plus
• You MUST have a car and a driving licence to be able to drive all the cars in the property

Salary: EUR 4000 net/month (depending on profile and experience).

Package:

• French CDD contract
• very strong possibility of it becoming permanent CDI contract.
