JOB DESCRIPTION: The Channels team at Client recruits and manages partners that help sell our Adaptive Planning Product. Client is looking for Business Development Representatives to help in the growth of the Channels business. We are looking for driven individuals to be able to proactively research the market based on the desired partner profile shortlist prospective partners build relationships with new potential partners and work closely with our Channel Managers in recruiting the selected partners.

Your responsibilities include:

Research

  • Research the market on companies that can potentially be good partners.
  • Due diligence on those companies e.g.capabilities emp count products services etc.
  • Look into the competitive partner landscape.
  • Build a data set that can help make informed decision.
  • Understand Partners business to decide on a fitment with our partner program.
  • Make recommendations to the team on the shortlist and prioritization.

Deal Making:

  • Build contact and relationship with the CXOs of the prospective Partners.
  • Use your experience and consultative BD skills to pitch the program and show the value to the partners.
  • Build trust such that partners share their business details and engage with you.
  • Build business plans with interested partners.
  • Work with Channel Managers on signing the partnership and onboarding them.

About You:

  • Native / Fluency in English.
  • Additional European language a plus (French/German Dutch)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelors degree in business Marketing or commercial qualifications.
  • 2year experience in sales or business development or consulting preferably in technology industry.
  • Selfstarter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly motivated tenacious and detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of Financial SaaS products/industry will be an advantage.
