Your Role

We are hiring a motivated and resultsdriven Business Development Professional in the Mid West (Chicago Indianapolis St.Louis etc). Candidates should have an advanced understanding of the industry market with a strong background in selling professional services in validation quality engineering and related. Seeking excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain longterm relationships with customers and stakeholders. Travel is required.

  • Develop comprehensive business development strategies and drive overall business objectives and growth.
  • Proactively identify and engage with potential clients to understand their needs and effectively deliver our tailored solutions.
  • Drive client engagement cultivating relationships with new and existing customers and serving as primary point of contact.
  • Identify market trends and actively target new business opportunities in the life science industry.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends opportunities and potential clients in order to identify key growth areas.
  • Analyze competitors and industry dynamics to inform strategic business development initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives. Utilize datadriven insights to make informed decisions and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong longlasting client relationships through effective communication and a deep understanding of client requirements.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or challenges.
  • Develop and manage budgets forecasts and financial plans related to business development activities. Monitor financial performance against targets identifying areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to upper management.
  • Travel and represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows to expand our network and visibility within the life science community.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership and guidance fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.





Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Engineering or related.
  • Proven success in a business development sales sales engineer project engineer or related role in the life sciences industry.
  • Direct industry clientfacing experience in an engineering or project management role within pharmaceutical manufacturing and biotechnology is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling professional services related to validation services quality engineering and so on.
  • Proven success in effectively targeting opportunities for growth prospect and nurturing potential leads.
  • Proven success in achieving sales goals.
  • Indepth knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the life science sector.
  • Indepth knowledge of the industry market.
  • Proactive gogetter attitude and passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Goaloriented ability to set goals and develop/drive action plans.
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers and additional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
  • Motivated and driven and willing to learn.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
  • Travel is required.
