Position Overview:
As a Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping our companys growth trajectory. Your primary focus will be on identifying and creating new business opportunities nurturing client relationships and driving revenue generation. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including sales marketing and product development to ensure alignment and success. Responsibilities:
**1. New Business Generation:**
Research identify and target potential clients and markets for our software products and services.
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to expand our customer base and market reach.
Actively seek out and establish partnerships alliances and collaborations to enhance our business prospects.
**2. Client Relationship Management:**
Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships with key decisionmakers and stakeholders.
Understand client needs pain points and requirements to tailor our offerings effectively.
Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries negotiations and issue resolution.
**3. Sales and Revenue Generation:**
Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closure.
Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively presenting our software products and services to potential clients.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling proposals pricing strategies and sales collateral.
**4. Market Insights:**
Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and competitive landscape to identify new market opportunities.
Provide feedback to the product development team regarding market needs customer preferences and potential product enhancements.
**5. Collaboration and Communication:**
Collaborate closely with internal teams including marketing product development and technical teams to align strategies and goals.
Communicate effectively with team members senior management and clients to provide updates on business development activities and progress.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of all sales and business development activities using our CRM system.
Prepare regular reports and updates on sales performance pipeline status and market trends for management review.
Education/Experience
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Computer Science Engineering or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the technology industry preferably with exposure to software products and services.
Solid understanding of computer vision AI/ML and IoT technologies and their applications.
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Selfmotivated and resultsdriven with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fastpaced startup environment.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
