On behalf of one of its clients an embedded software security company the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Business Development Manager.
As the Marketing and Business Development Manager at our company you will play a crucial role in crafting and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy while actively engaging in business development initiatives.
Based in Singapore this dynamic role will involve collaborating closely with the marketing team to define localized campaigns evaluating untapped markets nurturing existing accounts and expanding our network of partners across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and orchestrate a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition
- Actively participate in physical and virtual events to promote our companys products and services
- Collaborate with the marketing team to define and execute localized marketing campaigns tailored to specific regions or target audiences
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging markets and potential prospects
- Initiate contact with appropriate purchasing personas and present our companys services and products
- Assess client needs draft comprehensive business and technical proposals and negotiate terms effectively
- Expand and nurture existing accounts by understanding their requirements providing updates on our companys product roadmap and exploring crossselling opportunities
- Cultivate and energize a network of partners including distributors VARs and referrals across different APAC countries
- Maintain an accurate sales forecast for the region and vigilantly monitor competitors and market trends
- Travel within the APAC region for customer interactions partner meetings and visits to headquarters in Bordeaux France as necessary.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field; MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in marketing strategy development and business development within the technology or software industry.
Strong understanding of market research techniques and ability to identify emerging markets and target audiences.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients partners and stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with a proactive and resultsdriven approach.
Willingness to travel within the APAC region and occasionally to headquarters in Bordeaux France.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages spoken in the APAC region is advantageous.
