Business Development Manager

Our client is a leading supplier of high-spec, bespoke commercial kitchens, and catering equipment to some of the UK's biggest hospitality chains.

Due to growth plans, they are now looking to recruit an experienced, dynamic field-based Business Development Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The BDM will be responsible for proactively sourcing new customers across the UK whilst building and retaining excellent relationships.

Responsibilities will include:

Creating sustainable, consistent profit-making sales and new business
Being a brand ambassador for the business
Identifying target markets and developing opportunities
Generating leads through cold calling
Arranging and attending face-to-face meetings at various locations across the UK
Creating and delivering professional, compelling sales presentations
Developing and managing a strong and growing forward sales pipeline

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Previous business development experience, selling commercial catering equipment
Successful track record of achieving and exceeding KPIs and targets
The ability to work autonomously and manage your diary
Have strong commercial awareness
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Full driving licence
Good understanding of social media platforms

The role offers a competitive basic salary plus commission, an annual bonus of around £2,500, and a company car.
