Business Analyst

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Business Analyst to join our team. This role requires a blend of business acumen and analytical expertise along with exceptional problemsolving skills. The ideal candidate will be tasked with enhancing the quality and efficiency of our business processes by leveraging datadriven insights to recommend strategic and operational improvements. Your work will influence key business decisions across multiple departments including finance operations sales and IT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather business requirements. Develop comprehensive understanding of business needs and pain points.
• Process Mapping and Analysis: Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Create detailed business process models and workflow diagrams using industrystandard tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect compile and analyze data from various internal and external sources. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel SQL Power BI or Tableau to support business decisions.
• Solution Design and Implementation: Propose and design practical solutions to improve business processes reduce costs enhance customer satisfaction and achieve operational excellence. Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement these solutions effectively.
• Change Management: Support the organization through change initiatives ensuring smooth transitions by managing stakeholders expectations and communication. Facilitate training sessions and create documentation to assist users in adopting new systems or processes.
• Project Management: Manage projects from inception to completion. Define project scope goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions and continuously improve business practices.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Computer Science or related field. A Masters degree or professional certifications (such as CBAP PMP) are beneficial.
• Experience: 25 years of experience in a business analysis role with proven success in project management and process improvement.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel and familiarity with SQL databases and business intelligence tools. Knowledge of ERP systems or CRM platforms like SAP or Salesforce is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to handle complex data and generate meaningful insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff. Proficiency in preparing clear and concise reports and presentations.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong facilitation and negotiation skills capable of managing stakeholder expectations and mediating compromises.

Compensation:

• Salary: The base salary for this position typically ranges from $65000 to $90000 per year depending on experience location and company size.
• Bonus: Performancebased bonuses are available which can add a significant percentage to the total compensation package.
