We are currently seeking a Business Account Executive (BAE). This role is responsible for building brand awareness, driving sales and delivering best-in-class customer service through implementing and developing field sales, education, training, and event strategies within Ulta Beauty.Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the BAE will manage the retail business for MA LYS within a defined territory including the hiring and development of freelance beauty ambassadors.

Your life at MA LYS will look like

SALES AND MANAGEMENT

  • Achieve or exceed defined sales goals
  • Monitor sales reports weekly to identify areas of opportunity and create strategic support plans based upon results
  • Maintain budget, hiring and management of freelance beauty ambassadors following defined KPIs
  • Foster professional, dynamic relationships with all levels of Ulta employees through education and in store side by side selling
  • Create and execute event strategy including monthly store generated events and quarterly corporate supported events
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and optimize in-store merchandising
  • Meet regularly with store management teams to conduct business review meetings
  • Provide innovation insight on competitive trends, insights, assortment needs, and best practices

Requirements :

You will thrive in this role if you have

  • 3+ years managing across multiple doors in a retail-centric environment preferably with Ulta Beauty
  • Proven history of sales goal achievement within the cosmetics industry
  • Highly effective in execution: deliver objectives, prioritize and plan work actions, establish and meet goals
  • Roll-up your sleeves attitude and enjoy working side-by-side selling with team members and training in-store staff
  • Proven leader with demonstrated ability to inspire, coach and educate others in a fast-pasted environment
  • Exceptional communication skills (presentation/verbal/written)
  • Uses resources effectively and has experience with Microsoft office including excel and/or google sheets and powerpoint

Working requirements...

  • This is a retail, field-based position with the expectation to be in store during key retail traffic times including a minimum of 1 weekend shift per week
  • 2 office days allowed per month
  • Available for travel estimate 20% of the time within thedefined territory
  • Able to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to drive a car for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 30 lbs.
