Job Description

The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations including customer service sales staff management and compliance.

The successful candidate will lead a team of dedicated professionals to achieve branch targets and deliver exceptional service to customers.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daytoday operations of the branch ensuring efficient functioning and adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Drive business growth by achieving sales targets for various banking products and services including deposits loans insurance mutual funds and other thirdparty products.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the branchs customer base and increase market share.
  • Recruit train and motivate branch staff to deliver superior service and achieve performance targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews provide feedback and coaching to staff members and address any performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor branch performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Qualification and Criteria:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or related field or Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 610 years of experience in retail banking with at least 23 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a competitive environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of banking products and services including retail lending deposits investments and insurance.
  • Strong commitment to ethical conduct integrity and customer confidentiality.
