As we gear up for our commercial production we are seeking to expand our team and bring in top engineering talents to join to accelerate the path to commercial production. What we are building here is hardcore engineering from upstream to downstream from tiny molecules to a large volume of production from a bench scale to industrial scale bioreactors. We question and challenge the industry normsall the things that the food industry has been doing for almost a centuryand strive to create a smarter and more sustainable solution both environmentally economically and engineeringly.

We are looking for a real BUILDER who is curious enough to question Why it has to be like this or What if we can do it better with . . just like what top engineering talents at Tesla SpaceX and OpenAI did with the way they disrupted the oldfashioned industry that no other multibillion dollar organization can do before.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work in a team of Bioprocess & Biomanufacturing Engineers in the continuous development of a robust biomanufacturing process from scaleup to downstream processingupon the goal of optimizing every element of the process from pilot to commercial scale.
• Initiate the plan to AnalyzeTestMeasure and provide solutions to optimize product output yield and accelerate process timing while maintaining its mandated quality and company goals.
• Oversee periodic operations for both scaleup process improvement and commissioning of production.
• Collaborate across the organization as a squad with Bioprocessing & Fermentation and BioManufacturing teams to ensure a smooth transition from lab to pilot and manufacturing steps.
• Manage external vendors and 3rd party collaborators involved in technical challenges that we are hacking.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Degree in Chemical/BioChemical Engineering/Bioprocessing or relating fields.
• 2 years experience in manufacturing fermentationbased products i.e. biobased ingredients biopharmaceuticals biochemicals and/or similar.
• Comes with a mindset of a BUILDER who aims to build something new & massive which has never been done beforerather than just stick to what the oldfashioned industry has been doing for centuries.
• Proven track record of leading engineering project management (planning execution and problemsolving) and managing a team of engineers to deliver successful outcomes.
• Experience and technical knowledge with pilot/industrial scale bioreactor and downstream unit operations are strong plus.
• Knowledge of food safety standards i.e. GMP HACCP and other standards and safety regulations including SIP/CIP protocols for industrial fermentation plant operations.
• Eager to manage and execute complex projects across internal & external stakeholders with tight timelines.
• Able to adapt and thrive in a rapid pace & quick changing environment.
• Strong passion to innovate and go the extra mile to achieve beyond expectations.
• Ability to lead develop and groom young engineering talents
• Good teamplay spirit with the ability to listen and communicate with others.
