Bid Manager

We are looking for a Bid Manager to work in our fast paced friendly Bid Management team in a fulltime position.

This role will be responsible for managing the bid process for a range of bids primarily within our Grounds Maintenance division. You will be responsible for completing the endtoend bid lifecycle including bid writing for a range of clients across commercial hospitality retail and blue light sectors amongst others.

What you will achieve:

Lead and manage bids including:

• Manage the bid/bin process
• Develop and lead the bid including identifying win strategies engaging key internal stakeholders for content and adhering to bid governance requirements
• Write compelling responses to technical/quality bid questions that stand Ground Control above its competitors
• Manage the bid programme ensuring that all activities are progressed on time to meet the submission date
• Manage bid portals ensuring effective dialogue and response to clarifications
• Keep bidding tools such as the pipeline database uptodate and contribute to bid reports as required.

Who are we looking for

The successful Bid Manager must have prior bid management experience and be able to develop an indepth understanding of Ground Control and our customers requirements quickly in order to articulate solutions that fit well with each customers strategy and needs. A track record of success in winning and retaining contracts is also essential.
