The Opportunity

BlueThrone is seeking its first Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to lay the foundation for our datadriven decisionmaking process. Reporting directly to the CTO and working closely with the CEO and senior leadership this role offers the unique opportunity to shape the BI landscape of our rapidly growing company. As a pivotal member of our team you will harness the power of data to illuminate insights that drive our strategic direction optimize performance and unveil new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities

Your Mission

• Analyze and Understand Data: Dive deep into complex data sets to unveil insights that inform business decisions across all levels of the organization.

• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work directly with the CEO CTO and senior leadership to understand data needs delivering actionable insights that drive strategic initiatives.

• Build Dashboards and Presentations: Design and develop intuitive dashboards and presentations that communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders facilitating datadriven decisionmaking.

• Create and Manage Documentation: Establish and maintain a comprehensive data catalog and documentation ensuring clarity and accessibility of data insights across the organization.

• Data Modeling: Develop and refine data models that accurately represent business processes enabling efficient analysis and reporting.

• Communicate Complex Data to NonTechnical Stakeholders: Effectively translate complex data findings into understandable insights for various roles across the organization ensuring clarity and actionable intelligence for all.
  

Your Expedition Toolkit

• Proficient in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.

• Experience with cloudbased data warehouses such as BigQuery or AWS Athena.

• Proficient in using BI tools like Metabase Tableau or Apache Superset for creating compelling visualizations.

• Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices for dashboard design.

• Strong foundation in data analytics including statistical analysis and the ability to present findings clearly and compellingly.

• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and best practices.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights to nontechnical stakeholders.

• Fluent in English proficiency in Hebrew and/or Russian is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.

• Experience with Jupyter Notebook or Google Collab for collaborative data exploration and analysis.
