Role Description

This is a fulltime onsite role for a Backend Engineer located in Karachi. The BackendEngineer will be responsible for the daytoday tasks associated with engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain scalable highperformance web applications using the Node.js/nest.js.
• Should be familiar with Automation testing tools AWS SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with project managers designers and other engineers to deliver complex projects.
• Write clean maintainable and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Effective communicator capable of technical decisionmaking and onpoint technical problemsolving skills.
• Lead and mentor junior developers conducting code reviews and providing guidance.
• Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing systems.
• Stay uptodate with emerging trends and technologies in fullstack development.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirement analysis architecture design testing and deployment.
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
• Strong communicator and fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development with a focus on the backend.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/typescript and experience with modern frameworks and libraries (React Node.js Nest.js).
• Experience with MongoDB and other database technologies.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 and Bootstrap.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
