Backend Engineer

Tasks

As a Backend Engineer youll work directly with our CTO David to develop robust systems and user interfaces driving our business forward.

• Collaborate closely with our CTO and crossfunctional team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design develop and maintain highperformance backend systems that are reliable scalable and secure
• Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery
• Continuously innovate and optimize our backend infrastructure to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements

Requirements

What Were Looking For:

• 35 years of handson experience with JVMbased languages such as Kotlin and/or Java preferably with Spring Boot expertise
• Solid understanding of designing complex architectures and handson experience with microservices and cloud architectures
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory

Whats a Plus:

• Experience working in a B2B SaaS and/or Startup environment
• DevOps experience with tools such as Docker AWS and Terraform
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and vector databases
