Container xChange is the leading online platform for container logistics and operations. We simplify the logistics of global trade making the processes surrounding the container as simple as the container itself by providing a neutral infrastructure for all logistics companies.

Your responsibilities in a nutshell

• You build it you run it: Design and build new features as part of your engineering team ensuring accountability and ownership throughout the process.
• Challenge maintain and nurture existing features in close collaboration with Product Business and Design
• Work on cuttingedge modern technologies while contributing to a dynamic forwardthinking organization identify technical debts and seek sustainable solutions.
• Support the optimization of our coding processes and push the boundaries of our toolset and architecture
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and actively help drive the team towards our technical vision

Location

This is an onsite position with home office allowance which means you will be expected to work in the office with us in Hamburg and still have the flexibility to work from home

Requirements

What makes you a great fit

• Experience with Java Spring Boot web applications
• Strong understanding of DDD concepts
• Good understanding of microservices architecture (e.g. event sourcing) and messaging brokers (e.g. Kafka)
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Kubernetes)
• A good understanding of modern engineering processes and agile methodologies
• Strong believer and practitioner in high code quality and tech standards
• Fluent English paired with efficient and effective communication
• You can represent your teams interests adequately and feel comfortable taking initiatives
• Knowledge of basic Typescript will be a plus
