This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious shipping MNC and play a key role in shaping its internal software development initiatives. If you are passionate about backend engineering and possess the leadership skills to drive a highperforming team we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 4 software developers in the development of backend solutions using Node.js and JavaScript.
- Drive the companys internal software and application development plans ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient backend solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on system design and backend engineering best practices.
- Mentor and coach team members to foster their professional growth and development.
- Ensure the delivery of highquality software solutions within established timelines.
- Utilize your expertise in database design including Postgres Oracle or MariaDB to optimize data management processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 8 to 12 years of total work experience in software development with a focus on backend engineering.
- Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript for building scalable and robust backend systems.
- Experience in database design including Postgres Oracle or MariaDB.
- Strong understanding of system design principles and experience in designing complex software architectures.
- Proven track record of leading software development teams and delivering successful projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in India and overseas.
- Experience in the shipping or logistics industry is a plus.
