Azure Data Architect - Confiz

Confiz is seeking an ideal candidate to fulfill the role of a Data Architect. This pivotal position involves managing vendor relationships providing technical project management and implementations for projects. The candidate will play a crucial role in shaping data strategies defining data management processes and enhancing data quality.

Responsibilities:

• Manages vendor relationships that are leveraged for implementation and to support deliverables.
• Provides technical project management for projects identified in a multiyear data roadmap.
• Delivers proofofconcept projects and technical workshops and supports implementation projects.
• Plays a key role in the development of data strategies for various groups (business leaders data scientists data analysts and IT) to help shape the future of what datacentric organizations look like.
• Evaluates business requirements and works closely with stakeholders to identify key business needs and translate that into a clear data strategy solution.
• Defines and implements data management processes.
• Strives to continuously improve the effectiveness of the data management strategy by identifying new opportunities for data and analytics to advance business needs as well as identifying and conveying data quality and gaps.
• Manages benchmarks and ensures continuous testing cleansing and refining of data integrity and quality assurance processes to enhance data and improve results.
• Summarizes and conveys data findings to both a technical and nontechnical audience.
• Prepares and delivers presentations and/or workshops to educate Executive Staff senior organizational leaders and various departments as requested.
• Remains current with emerging technologies and industry best practices; guides others on major strategies and methodologies.
• Maintains current job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities reading professional publications maintaining personal networks and/or participating in professional organizations

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering Statistics Technical Science or related field. Masters Degree is strongly preferred.
• 8 years of professional handson experience building complex solution that collect process store and analyze large volumes of businesscritical data
• 1 years working in an Architect role including: designing and building complex data solutions
• 2 years experience with Azure cloud products and services
• 3 years of experience developing both multidimensional and tabular models with large and complex datasets;
• Experience in managing teams being a technical coach
• Experience driving knowledge transfer and/or training programs
• Experience with agile delivery methodologies proof of concepts and prototyping
• Experience with Azure ARM templates PowerShell and CI/CD using Azure DevOps
• Experience with preparing data for Data Science and Machine Learning purposes
• Experience with Azure data Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions
• Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues related to regulations industry practice and new application technologies
• Knowledge of Lambda and Kappa architecture patterns and Mastery of SQL
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality tools
• Ability to conduct data profiling cataloguing and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows
• Understanding data fabric data mesh data vault
• Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions
