InfraHire is looking for an Avionics Installation Technician in Smyrna TN.
Job Description:
The Avionics Install Tech removes and installs avionics equipment and electrical components manufactures wire harnesses and terminations diagnoses installations and conducts functional testing of avionics and electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
The Avionics Install Tech removes and installs avionics equipment and electrical components manufactures wire harnesses and terminations diagnoses installations and conducts functional testing of avionics and electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate adeptness in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams aircraft blueprints and schematics.
- Wire install test and validate the operation of avionics equipment and accessories pinpoint and rectify electronics failures in various airframes using hand tools test equipment technical documents and reference materials. This involves effective communication with coworkers and in some instances with manufacturers.
- Modify existing instrument panels or create new panels fashion equipment shelves as needed and produce and install additional hardware to support and facilitate aviation electronics systems.
- Ensure that installations adhere to procedures outlined in the companys FAA Repair Station Manual as well as comply with FAA Regulations and manufacturer instructions.
- Exercise sound judgment and technical acumen to make informed decisions regarding job sequence and techniques troubleshooting and discrepancy resolutionall aimed at optimizing quality and efficiency while adhering to agreedupon deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Minimum of two years of work experience in a general aviation aircraft modification/completion shop.
- Preferred Experience: At least five years of successful avionics installation repair or maintenance experience
