AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIANS/ MECHANICS

Responsibilities - Service Technician:
- Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specifications
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers in-person or via phone, text, email or video as required.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology
- Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made in a timely and effective manner
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements - Service Technician:
- 1+ year of experience as an Automotive Technician OR Completion of Technical School
- ASEcertifications are a plus but not required
- Hold and maintain a valid driver license
- Team oriented, flexible and provide excellent customer service
- Demonstrate working knowledge of all shop equipment
- Regular attendance required
- Resume, online assessment, pre-employment, MVR and drug screening required
