Automobile Technicians

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automobile Technician to join our team at a reputable automotive service center in Canada. As an Automobile Technician you will play a key role in diagnosing repairing and maintaining various vehicles ensuring they operate at optimal performance levels and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Diagnostics: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.

2. Repairs and Maintenance: Perform necessary repairs adjustments and maintenance tasks on vehicles including engine repairs brake system servicing electrical system repairs and more.

3. Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their overall condition and identify potential issues that require attention.

4. Parts Replacement: Replace faulty or wornout parts with new ones ensuring the use of genuine parts and following manufacturer guidelines.

5. Routine Servicing: Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes filter replacements and tire rotations.

6. Electrical Systems: Diagnose and repair electrical systems including wiring lighting and electronic components.

7. Brake and Suspension Systems: Inspect repair and replace brake and suspension components to ensure vehicle safety and handling.

8. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all vehicle repairs services performed and parts used.

9. Customer Service: Interact with customers addressing their inquiries explaining repair recommendations and providing excellent customer service.

10. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards ensuring all work is performed in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Formal technical training or certification in automotive technology is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Automobile Technician with a solid understanding of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills.
• Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fastpaced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
