Title: Automation Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 9 Months
Rate: $60 to 65/hr

Seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in Ansible and Python. Responsible for designing implementing and maintaining automation solutions for our clients infrastructure and networking environments. Primary focus will be utilizing Ansible and Python to automate the process of adding images to devices. Additionally will be involved in conducting customer demos and interfacing heavily with a customer Automation Team so excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement automation solutions using Ansible and Python for infrastructure and networking environments.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional client teams to understand requirements and design efficient automation workflows for adding images to devices.
• Write Ansible playbooks and Python scripts to automate image deployment and configuration processes.
• Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and tools ensuring seamless and efficient workflows.
• Conduct testing and validation of automation workflows to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation workflows identifying and implementing necessary fixes or enhancements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and networking teams to understand device configurations and requirements for image deployment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other teams assisting with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Conduct demos and presentations to showcase automation solutions and their benefits.
• Document automation processes workflows and configurations ensuring accurate and uptodate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Automation Engineer with expertise in Ansible.
• Strong background in infrastructure and networking with knowledge of device configurations and image deployment processes.
• Experience working in and Agile environment (Scrum).
• Proficiency in Ansible automation tool including writing playbooks utilizing modules and managing inventories.
• Strong scripting skills in Python for automation and integration purposes.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git for managing automation code.
• Familiarity with network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP VLANs routing and switching.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve automation issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
