Audit Controls Analyst

We are currently looking for an Audit Controls Analyst for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $35 to $44 based on experience.
8month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:

Assess operating and control environment across Alternative Asset Operations functions.
Drive transformative change while maintaining a robust and riskmitigating control structure.
Support business partners in Global Alternative Investment Operations with design of financial reporting controls.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audits of financial statements (including SOX and MAR).
Advise functional areas and project teams within the division on risk management controls and audits.
Work alongside a team of seasoned professionals with backgrounds in accounting operations audit and consulting.
Execute control consulting projects.
Support external audits and regulatory examinations of the business.
Manage closure process for previouslyidentified gaps in internal control.
Work with business leaders to improve efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and related processes.

What you will need to succeed:

Bachelor s degree in finance/accounting.
FRM or CPA certification (nice to have).
35 years experience in a related role.
Insurance and Financial services industry background (preferred).
Experience with audit controls.
Archer experience (preferred).
Customer service skills.
Strong ability to work effectively in teams.
Strong relationship management skills.
Ability to inspire team members with a positive attitude.
Ability to serve as a role model and mentor for peers and junior team members.
Knowledge sharing ability.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to provide honest and timely feedback.
