Are you a skilled fullservice event Audio Engineer seeking a thrilling new opportunity Look no further! Our client is actively seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a fulltime Audio Engineer. In this dynamic role youll be at the forefront of setting up operating and maintaining topnotch gear for inperson events hybrid experiences and broadcast events. Elevate your career and immerse yourself in the excitement.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as point of contact for client questions related to audio or general needs
  • Collaborate with event planners technical crews and other audiovisual professionals to plan and execute audio for corporate and political events
  • Prepare set up breakdown test and maintain audio gear both in the shop and on the event site
  • Scan in/out orders to the companys inventory tracking system as needed.
  • Mix inperson virtual and hybrid events.
  • Confirm all equipment is up to date with software and firmware before going to event sites
  • Collaborate and assist other team members and departments as needed.
  • Quickly work to resolve technical issues when they arise.
  • Research and Development of technology and advise purchases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in audio engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in event production
  • General knowledge of computer networking audio networking and signal flow
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of audio equipment and software.
  • Working knowledge of Dante networking
  • Strong working knowledge of Yamaha Digico Allen & Heath and/ or Midas digital workflow.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Wellrounded knowledge and skills in all areas of production preferred.
  • Consistent can do attitude.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and problemsolve in a timesensitive production environment
  • Knowledge of corporate event production and industry standards
  • 50% (Required)
  • Driver s license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate s or bachelor s degree in audio engineering or related field preferred.


Requirements: University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years' experience in an electrical and/or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
