Asst. Manager Export & Import Coordinator
We are looking for an Export & Import Coordinator with strong analytical and accounting skills Fairly good knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Office and experience in documentation commercial rules and liaison. Expert Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word preferably and fair knowledge of the English Language.
The job profile includes coordination supervision tracking evaluation and recording daytoday activities related to export and import within the company. We are looking for someone to work closely as a team member with FC / FM and another member of the financial management team.
Job Description:
Managing and overseeing the daily operations of procurement and movement of goods between different locations/countries.
Ensure all the necessary documents and permits are in place coordinate with the transportation and logistics team and coordinate with various departments.
Establishing and effectively implementing proper controls checks and analysis of each export / Import Transaction.
To regularly monitor and prepare the inventory of the stock. Record keeping of each cost and expense for all Raw Material and Finished goods per Unit of Measure and allied activities.
Job responsibilities:
To receive all information and then track Import consignments prepare bank submissions plan for payment of duty and all other related charges/fees.
To liaison with the logistics team and prepare necessary documents required by them for clearance of goods. To ensure that goods are cleared from Customs and proper records to be maintained.
Monitoring inventory levels and maintaining records of all import and export transactions including tracking shipments and preparing reports on shipping costs and delivery times.
Ensuring compliance with import/export regulations including obtaining necessary licenses and permits and keeping uptodate with changes in trade laws and regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
Experience: 10 years. 5 years of Nigerian experience is a must.
Requirements and skills
Proven and hands on working experience as Export & Import assistant / coordinator etc.
MS Office accounting software and databases especially Tally ERP.
Ability to analysis data variance analysis handle large amounts of data.
Proven knowledge of International Import & Export regulations and processes
High attention to documentation detail supporting accuracy record keeping.
Strong communication organizational and problemsolving skills Ability to coordinate direct and supervise
his subordinates and work as a finance team member.
Ability to work with other function in coordination and cohesiveness.
Related degree in Commercial Laws and Import & Export procedure and systems.
