Job Description

First Call Contract Services are seeking an experienced administrator for a large manufacturing business based in Bury St Edmunds.

In addition to its core food manufacturing and processing activities, our client also runs an agricultural business which needs further administrative support.

The key duties of the role will include:

  • Data Management (extensive use of Microsoft Excel and their internal systems)
  • Creating contract documentation
  • Customer relations
  • Processing, formatting and uploading invoices
  • Communicating with the accounts payable department
  • Record management

You will be paid £16.20ph, paid weekly.

This is a temporary role with an expected duration of 4 months. However, the business employs over 1600 staff and has a turnover of £700m+, and will offer a permanent contract to any candidate who displays the right qualities and delivers good results.

The hours of work are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. There is a degree of flexibility with these hours, so they can be amended to suit your personal situation if needed.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and attributes:

  • Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Flexible in their approach to work and happy to take on additional tasks and responsibilities
  • Able to work without supervision once trained
  • Experience handling invoices
  • Great communication skills
  • Comfortable dealing with various departments and stakeholders
  • Experience in the agricultural sector an advantage, but not essential
