Assistant Manager - Design

• Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering theory including DFMEA.
• Should be well versed in basic physics and basics of mechanical engineering and material selection.
• Understanding of hand calculations and FEA
• OEM/Tier 1 experience with vehicle systems/assemblies
• Perform theoretical calculations of mechanical engineering (shaft selection motor selection bearing selection gears selection thermal calculations).
• Perform machine design calculations based on customer inputs.
• Experience of component testing and design of tests Experience working in electromechanical product design
• Component selection in hydraulics pneumatics motors pumps heat exchangers driveline couplings and other components required in engine test beds.
• Create system and machine manuals based on scope of project.
• Guide drafting team for parts selection material selection.
