About the Role:
SoftLabs is seeking APS5 Content Developer for ICT Labour hire at their technology consulting based in ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA.
Requirements:
The Content Developer will be required to develop webpage content in SharePoint to support the operational and corporate parts of the business that instructs the audience on how to interact with the business units effectively. Requirements of the role include the ability to:
- Work independently within an environment of change and ambiguity, and with minimal instruction or guidance
- Ability to resolve conflicts between competing work goals, priorities, and projects.

- Manage cross-functional workflows and ensure quality of outcomes; including the ability to work with geographically dispersed teams

Essential Requirements:
- Ability to read, understand and interpret technical information to produce engaging digital content in the form of web pages on SharePoint sites.
- Ability to estimate time to complete technical requirements and report effectively.
- Ability to publish and edit SharePoint intranet sites to create comprehensive and unified suites of interlinked resources, with a high level of independent technical expertise
- Effective communication skills including:
1. Ability to build productive working relationships in matters relating to internal stakeholders.
2. Excellent presentation skills of complex, engaging and intuitive technical functions; and
3. Ability to participate in idea forums and other types of interpersonal meetings.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, and DevOps
- Ability to analyse digital content for quality and accuracy.
- Strong self-management skills including the ability to organise work activities and complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
- Capability to innovate and anticipate opportunities.
Desirable requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint site administration
- Knowledge of SharePoint content management and creation
- Project Management skills and DevOps/Agile methodologies
- Use of DevOps as a work item management tool
- Knowledge and experience in the suite of Adobe editing tools
Essential Criteria:
- 1-2 years previous experience in creating SharePoint modern webpages and a sound
technical understanding of the SharePoint web application. - Demonstrated experience following documented processes to provide efficient
outcomes and identify opportunities to improve and add value - Demonstrated experience contributing to the effectiveness and overall success of the
team by effectively managing personal workloads, handling competing priorities, and
working autonomously
Desirable Criteria:
- SharePoint Site collection or tenant administration experience
- DevOps Software development application experience
- Experience with Microsoft Visio application and Adobe Acrobat software packages
