Job Description:

The Apigee Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for the management and maintenance of Google Apigee OPDK and Hybrid versions. This includes overseeing setup managing nodes implementing patch updates executing version upgrades and ensuring infrastructure recycling. Additionally the specialist will provide endtoend user support troubleshoot proxy issues and develop automation solutions. A strong understanding of Apigee Hybrid with exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential.

Mandatory Skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Apigee OPDK infrastructure components and setup procedures.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EKS EC2 S3 ALB NLB EBS volumes and AMI recycling.
• Extensive experience in Linux administration.
• Expertise in creating and managing services within AWS EKS including pod deployments and vulnerability management.
• Demonstrated skill in building and deploying containerized applications using Docker/containerd within the EKS platform at an enterprise level.
• Proficient in orchestrating containerized applications with Kubernetes with a focus on deployment scaling and maintenance within a microservices architecture.
• Exposure to Apigee Hybrid with a foundational understanding of GCP.
• Familiarity with components such as RMP Cassandra Zookeeper Postgres and QPid.
• Excellent communication skills including regular engagement with onshore teams.
• Proficiency in Ansible scripting for infrastructure automation.

Secondary Skills:

• Proficiency in Python scripting is advantageous.
• Certifications in GCP are beneficial.
• Experience with realtime application infrastructure debugging using GitOps frameworks like Flux and Helm.
• Basic knowledge of Java coding is a plus.
