Job Title: Analytical Chemist Senior

Job Location; Hazelwood MO (onsite)

Job Type: Contract

This role involves various responsibilities including impurity profiling DS and DP identification unknown compound identification and characterization using advanced analytical techniques such as LCMS GCMS and ICPMS. Additional duties include conducting Extractable and Leachable studies developing validating and transferring analytical methods addressing commercial product issues and performing cell culture and western analysis to support S&T projects. The candidate must ensure accurate chemical and instrumental test results within designated timelines operate within a regulated environment and follow cGxP guidelines.

Essential Functions: The ideal candidate should possess advanced knowledge of analytical chemistry demonstrate expertise in various analytical techniques and have extensive experience in LC/MS GCMS or ICPMS. Familiarity with Agilent mass spectrometry and method validation/transfers for pharmaceutical methods according to regulatory guidelines is crucial. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD in Chemistry or related science with a minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical or related work experience.
  • MS in Chemistry or related science typically with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical or related work experience.
  • BA or BS in Chemistry Biology Pharmaceutical Science Physics or related science typically with a minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical or related work experience.

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced team setting and a resourcelimited environment.
  • Selfmotivated with good work ethic and timely task completion.
  • Strong organization planning and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of laboratory procedures with effective communication skills.
  • Problemsolving skills and technical competency.
  • Laboratory skills including extensive experience with mass spectrometry liquid chromatography and laboratory automation.
  • Emphasis on demonstrated ability for independent problemsolving.
