I. Job Description:

Management accounting analyst shall support the management accounting tasks for the LHT group business units.
The incumbent shall be supporting to build analyze and report the financial profitability of the business segments.
This is an individual contributor role reporting into financial shared services manager of LTSI and collaborates with the
central management accounting team in Hamburg and segment controllers across Lufthansa Technik Group (LHT).

Tasks and Responsibilities Management Accounting

  • Advising business segments on issues of profitability cost center or cost unit accounting assisting in monthly and annual financial statements and commenting on the monthly results to be analyzed.
  • Manage projects (across divisions and subsidiaries).
  • Define and conceptually develop standards and processes for financial statements and results analysis as well as provide technical support for the IT programs used for this purpose throughout the LHT Group.
  • Carry out special analyses and special tasks as well as advise the departments on business management issues.
  • Carry out process management operationally within the framework of process responsibility and introduce and conceptually develop methods of process management.
  • Support on cross functional tasks.

II. Required Skills:

  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to accommodate different working hours time zones
  • Communicate confidently in an articulate manner both verbally and in writing.
  • Plan and manage tasks as assigned whilst meeting deadlines and delivering quality output
  • Flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.
  • Ability to adapt easily to a changing environment and work effectively with different deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Great teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Great analytical skills and is detailoriented
  • Excellent organizational skills

III. Qualifications:

  • Post Graduation/MBA in Accounting Finance Business Administration Economics or similar
  • 3 5 years of strong work experience in handling complete P&L (revenues costs and profitability)
  • Basic to Solid knowledge on ERP tool and SAP CO preferable
  • Solid knowledge and experience of MS Office
