Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver anaesthesia courses for medical students and residents
• Conduct research in anaesthesiology and publish findings in reputable journals
• Provide clinical care and consultation in anaesthesia
• Mentor and supervise medical students residents and fellows
• Participate in departmental and institutional committees and activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for patient care and research projects
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in anaesthesia
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
• Participate in academic and professional development activities
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of trainees
• Lead and participate in anaesthesiarelated community outreach programs
• Enhance the departments reputation through scholarly activities and collaborations
• Contribute to grant writing and fundraising for research projects
• Represent the department at scientific conferences and events
• Supervise and support clinical anaesthesia services

Required Qualifications:

• MD or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Anaesthesiology
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in anaesthesia
• Proven track record of scholarly activity including publications and research grants
• Experience in teaching and mentoring medical students residents and fellows
• Leadership experience in academic or clinical settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Active involvement in professional anaesthesia societies and organizations
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and diverse environment
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care safety and advocacy
• Experience with anesthesia administration equipment and procedures
• Expertise in regional and general anesthesia techniques
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in clinical and academic settings
• Experience with supervising and leading clinical teams
