Job Summary:
Assembly Technicians are vital members of the production team. They are expected to cut grind fabricate and install different pipes metals valves motors and pumps. Assembly techs are highly skilled with a large variety of power and hand tools. Use of tools in conjunction with other large machinery like forklifts pallet jacks and cranes is part of the daily production routine.
Job Description:
Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
Use proper tools to make or repair parts and products(cartridge/Skid and Oil reservoir).
Ability to understand technical documents such as DWG P&ID schematics blueprints or other verbal or written instructions.
Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements.
Prepare production documents such as standard operating procedures manufacturing batch records inventory reports or productivity reports.
Provide production progress or changeover reports to shift supervisors.
Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
Select cleaning materials tools or equipment.
Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
Highest Level of Education Required for this Position: High School Diploma or GED required An Associate Degree is preferred.
Qualifications (IE SAP Experience Excel Knowledge Any Certifications Years of Experience in Certain Fields):
Good communication skills
Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate heavy electrical machinery
Excellent handeye coordination
Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
Basic computer skills such as emailing record keeping ordering inventory management and form filing
Willingness to work in flexible shifts as needed
Pipe bending or plumbing experience is a plus.
Ability to use hand/power tools
