Who are we looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Airport Operations Supervisor to join our team at Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (KIAL).

As an Airport Operations Supervisor Passenger Services you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of passenger services for flights between Bengaluru and Dhaalu.

Key Responsibilities
Passenger CheckIn and Boarding
  1. Oversee the checkin process ensuring adherence to airline policies and procedures.
  2. Coordinate and manage the boarding process working closely with ground handling staff and cabin crew.
Customer Service
  1. Provide exceptional customer service to passengers addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  2. Handle special requests and assist passengers with any unique requirements.

Baggage Handling
  1. Supervise the baggage handling process ensuring accurate tagging loading and delivery.
  2. Manage lost and found procedures and assist in the resolution of baggagerelated concerns.
Flight Coordination
  1. Collaborate with flight crew ground staff and relevant authorities to ensure ontime departures and arrivals.
  2. Address and resolve any operational challenges that may arise during the shift.
*Safety and Security Compliance:
  1. Ensure strict compliance with safety and security protocols in accordance with aviation regulations.
  2. Conduct regular safety briefings and training for the team.
Team Management
  1. Lead and motivate a team of airport ground staff of the GHA fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  2. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Bachelors degree in Aviation Management Business Administration or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in airport operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  3. Knowledge of aviation regulations safety protocols and customer service best practices.
  4. Strong leadership communication and problemsolving skills.

Skills and Competencies
  1. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle diverse customer interactions.
  2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  3. Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions in a fastpaced environment.
  4. Proficient in using airline reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
