Airconditioning Technician: Bloemfontein & Kimberley

Basic salary negotiable.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant Trade certification in HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) or a related field.
• Experience and qualifications in electrical will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience working as an Air Conditioner Technician preferably in a residential or commercial setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning systems including cleaning condenser coils replacing filters and lubricating moving parts.
• Conduct inspections to assess the condition and performance of air conditioning units.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning systems such as refrigerant leaks electrical malfunctions or mechanical failures.
• Repair or replace faulty components and parts such as compressors motors thermostats and fans.
• Install assemble and test new air conditioning systems according to specifications and guidelines.
• Conduct performance and efficiency tests on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries explaining repair options and suggesting preventative maintenance measures.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed including service reports inventory and equipment maintenance logs.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and product knowledge to effectively carry out repairs and installations.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete complex projects or handle an increased workload during peak seasons.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working on air conditioning systems to ensure a secure and accidentfree environment.
