Position: Accounts Assistant (Accounts Payable) Fulltime

Location: Dun Laoghaire


Salary: up to 40K DOE

Teamworx are delighted to partner with our wonderful 4* hospitality client in search for a dedicated detailed orientation Accounts payable expert to join their well established Accounts Team. The major function of this role is the responsibility for maintaining efficient and accurate Accounting functions.

Reporting to the Financial Controller you may be responsible for some of the following:
  • Inputting of creditors invoices
  • Cross Checking pricing and purchase orders against invoices received
  • Reconciling of creditors accounts
  • Preparing monthly creditors listing and payments for end of month
  • Assistance with preparation of VAT returns
  • Assistance in the preparation of books and files for audit
  • Posting of Accruals & Prepayments.
  • Posting of Accruals & Prepayments.
  • Any ad hoc duties that may arise.
  • Carry out accruals reviews at month end to ensure the accuracy of the management accounts
  • Adhoc finance projects and to perform other related duties as assigned


Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain financial standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with general office PC applications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
