Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records including accounts payable and receivable general ledger entries bank reconciliations and payroll records.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements including profit and loss statements balance sheets cash flow statements and other financial reports as required. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budgetary performance and provide analysis of variances between actual and budgeted figures. Make recommendations to improve financial performance.
  4. Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decisionmaking. Identify trends risks and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement. Develop financial models and forecasts to support business planning.
  5. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy and reliability of financial information. Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to enhance control procedures.
  6. Audit Support: Coordinate and provide support during internal and external audits. Prepare audit schedules reconcile discrepancies and address audit findings in a timely manner.
  7. Financial Systems and Tools: Utilize accounting software and other financial tools effectively to streamline processes improve efficiency and ensure data accuracy. Provide training and support to team members on financial systems.
  8. Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated with accounting principles regulations and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including finance operations and senior management to provide financial insights support decisionmaking and drive business growth.

Education/Experience

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) are preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on financial reporting analysis and budgeting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles regulations and financial standards.
  • Proficiency in using SAP to manage financial data and generate reports.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and provide strategic insights.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Integrity and ethical conduct when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Ability to adapt to change work independently and handle pressure in a fastpaced environment.
it would be a hybrid model which may be changed to workfromhome later on depending on work conditions. The working hours would be 6.30 PM to 3.30 AM (US timing) with Saturday and Sunday as weekly off. The candidates should be experienced in US backoffice working style.
