Construction Accounting Specialist

Were seeking a detailoriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Round Rock TX! In this crucial role youll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our construction company. Youll be responsible for managing both Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must have an accredited Accounting Degree (e.g. Bachelor of Accounting Associate of Applied Science in Accounting)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in construction accounting with a strong understanding of billings receivables payables payroll and HR functions within the construction industry
• Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Highly organized and detailoriented with a keen eye for accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Willingness to collaborate effectively with team members
• A plus if bilingual (Spanish)
• Familiarity with ComputerEase accounting software is a plus but we can provide training
