Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant to oversee and manage various accounting functions within our organization. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in financial reporting analysis and compliance ensuring accuracy and integrity in our financial processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead monthend and yearend close processes including preparation and review of journal entries account reconciliations and financial statements.
2. Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
3. Oversee and coordinate the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders including management reports variance analysis and budget vs. actuals.
4. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decisionmaking and strategic planning.
5. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements including GAAP and relevant tax laws.
6. Coordinate and support internal and external audits including preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries.
7. Develop and maintain accounting policies procedures and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
8. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline processes optimize efficiency and drive continuous improvement in accounting operations.
9. Mentor and train junior accounting staff providing guidance and support to foster professional development.
10. Stay updated on emerging accounting trends regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and promote innovation.
11. Handle special projects and adhoc assignments as needed by management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA certification preferred.
2. 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles with at least 2 years in a supervisory or seniorlevel position.
3. Thorough understanding of accounting principles financial reporting standards and internal controls.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite) as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
5. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Proven leadership abilities including the ability to mentor motivate and develop a team.
8. Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
9. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
10. High level of professionalism ethics and integrity.
