Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled and detailoriented Accountant with expertise in online banking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a CPA (K) qualification and a strong understanding of financial principles and online banking operations. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance within our online banking department.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for online banking transactions ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
   
2. Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of online banking accounts identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
   
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for online banking operations providing insights and recommendations to optimize performance.
   
4. Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits of online banking activities ensuring transparency and adherence to audit requirements.
   
5. Compliance Monitoring: Monitor regulatory changes and updates related to online banking practices implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
   
6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the online banking department streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.
   
7. Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to evaluate the performance of online banking products and services supporting strategic decisionmaking and business planning.
   
8. Risk Management: Assess financial risks associated with online banking operations and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
   
9. Team Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including IT risk management and customer service to ensure seamless integration and delivery of online banking services.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
   
2. CPA (K) qualification is mandatory.
   
3. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
   
4. Strong knowledge of online banking platforms processes and regulations.
   
5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
   
6. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
   
7. Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
   
8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
