Accountant

Job description:

Performs accounting functions including compilation of financial information journal entry processing reconciliations and the analysis of data.

• Records classifies and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Initiates and processes journal entries into various accounts.
• Reconciles accounts as required and resolves differences.
• Provides financial information as required to management.
• Uses various software tools such as spreadsheets and databases to provide supporting documentation for schedules and journal entries.
• Perform analyses on various balance sheet accounts such as inventory accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have either a BS or MS in Accounting or Finance.
• Candidates must have 2 to 4 years experience with Excel.
• Candidates with a CPA or CPA are HIGHLY preferred.
• Candidates with previous accounting experience is preferred.
• Candidates with SAP experience is preferred.
• Hiring Manager is open to recent college graduates.
