PAY RANGE: XX4045 /Hr (NTE MU 45%)
MAX BIILL RATE: NOT TO EXCEED XX65.25/Hr.

*REFRESHED FOR LAST ROLE (1 HC): HM is looking for candidates who may have recently been laid off from local audit companies. Please look for these candidates as submit them ASAP. Also the HM highly prefers candidates who have a degree in Accounting from Georgia State Uni. and is asking for this candidate to stand out as preferred.

HYBRID ROLES 2 days in office (on either Tues/Wed/Thurs) 3 days remote.
WORK SITE : 3950 Shackleford Rd. Duluth GA 30096
MUST HAVE :
1. Bachelor s Degree in Accounting (REQUIRED) no flexibility. Unless they have a Master s in Accounting. A concentration or focus in Accounting will NOT suffice.
2. Month end close experience.
3. Balance sheet reconciliation.
4. Process improvement/change management exp to help update documentation.
5. Must have GL experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Staff Accountant will support the implementation and ongoing accounting for multiple WestRock divisions. Individual must be a selfstarter and have leadership skills to advance the organization. Must be strong in communication skills both written and verbal to interact with all levels of the organization.

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT WESTROCK:
Prepare accruals for payroll utilities holiday vacation and temp labor
Other miscellaneous accruals related to the divisional locations
Review and analysis for plants outside expected tolerance range
Review of JDE to ensure GL Coding is accurate
Point of contact for divisional locations regarding accounting related questions
Documentation of Accrual & Research processes
Work with team regarding process improvements
Provide updates to Management on a regular basis
Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations within Blackline

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting is absolutely REQUIRED (or masters in accounting is okay)
35 years of GL experience required Internship is okay (not looking for all primarily AR /AP )
Strong communication skills
Month end close experience
Financial expertise and knowledge of financial principles in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to support plant initiatives goals and demonstrate a positive attitude towards others.
Sets priorities establish objectives/milestones and schedule activities effectively.
Experience with JD Edwards Hyperion and Blackline
High level of Microsoft Office expertise and proficiency at the advanced level with Excel .
