Accountant Controller wmd 8545

For a project at our client s site (home office possible within Switzerland), an international insurance based in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated Accountant / Controller.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and running the quarterly controlling / forecasting process and other account management tasks.

Tasks

• Responsible for preparing and running the quarterly controlling / forecasting process
• Prepare the monthly and quarterly forecast in Excel
• Responsible for preparing the Presentation for Finance Governance meeting
• Ensure timely and comprehensive budgeting
• Create and update accruals monthly and provide related documentation
• Request and manage Purchase Orders and process invoices
• Taking part in monthly meetings and providing support for Finance team

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working in a Finance and accounting team within the financial industry
• Versed in working on budgeting, budget analysis, forecasting, planning, cost optimization, and accruals
• Experience in project management with excellent presentation skills and the ability to present budgets, targets, forecasts
• Knowledge of Power BI and Data analytics
• Customer-focused and reliable personality with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Fluent in English
