Job Description:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger functions.
Prepare and analyze financial reports including monthly financial statements budget variance analysis and cash flow projections.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices payments and expense reports.
Monitor and reconcile bank statements accounts and transactions.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve financial controls.
Develop and implement financial policies procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Co ordinate with audits to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Stay current with accounting regulations industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements and optimize financial performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
More than 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management preferably in the logistics industry.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Detailoriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
Ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fastpaced environment. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting
principles.
