Overview

The Account Assistant & Manager plays a crucial role in the management and organization of financial information. They are responsible for handling various accounting tasks and assisting in financial analysis. This role is integral to ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial data and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Process invoices and expense reports
  • Handle bank reconciliations
  • Assist in payroll processing
  • Support in audit preparation and coordination
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations
  • Assist in tax filings and compliance
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Provide support for adhoc financial projects
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist in financial software implementation and utilization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
  • 2 years of experience in accounting or financial role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting
