We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Academic Writing Specialist to join our The Academic Writing Specialist will be responsible for providing support to students and scholars in developing their academic writing The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of academic writing conventions, research methods, and scholarly The candidate should be able to provide constructive feedback and guidance to help writers improve the clarity, coherence, and effectiveness of their written
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one consultations to students and scholars on various aspects of academic writing, including organization, structure, coherence, clarity, and style
Develop and deliver workshops and training sessions on academic writing conventions, research methods, and scholarly communication
Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate writing support into academic programs and curricula
Develop and maintain resources and tools to support academic writing, such as writing guides, templates, and online resources
Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of writing support programs and services
Stay current with developments in academic writing, research methods, and scholarly communication to ensure the quality and relevance of writing support services

Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in English, writing, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of academic writing conventions, research methods, and scholarly communication
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to writers from diverse backgrounds and disciplines
- Experience developing and delivering workshops and training sessions on academic writing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
