Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ABAP Developer with extensive experience in core ABAP and ABAP on HANA along with proficiency in a range of related technologies such as Web Services RESTful APIs SBOs around IDOCs CDS (Core Data Services) and RICEWFs (Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements Workflows). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP development with a focus on delivering highquality solutions that meet business requirements efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs and enhancements in accordance with project requirements and industry best practices.
- Design and implement solutions utilizing ABAP on HANA to optimize performance and leverage the capabilities of SAP HANA database.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Develop and consume Web Services and RESTful APIs to integrate SAP systems with external applications and services.
- Customize standard SAP Business Objects (SBOs) related to IDOCs (Intermediate Documents) for seamless data exchange between SAP and nonSAP systems.
- Utilize Core Data Services (CDS) for data modeling and defining views within the SAP HANA database.
- Develop and maintain RICEWF objects (Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements Workflows) to support various business processes.
- Conduct code reviews performance tuning and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including functional consultants architects and business users to deliver endtoend solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and trends and proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development with strong proficiency in core ABAP and ABAP on HANA.
- Experience developing and consuming Web Services and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in customizing SAP Business Objects related to IDOCs.
- Strong knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS) and experience in data modeling.
- Experience developing RICEWF objects (Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements Workflows) within SAP systems.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
- SAP certification in relevant areas is a plus.
