Network Architect

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead the design transformation and modernization of enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for defining and executing a futurestate network architecture driving migrations from 2tier to 3tier (Core-Distribution-Access) models and delivering secure highly available and scalable network solutions across data center WAN and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise networking Palo Alto security SDWAN (VMware VeloCloud) Azure networking and network automation with strong design leadership and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

Network Architecture & Design

• Lead the migration from 2tier to 3tier (Core / Distribution / Access) network architecture
• Define and execute a futurestate network architecture roadmap aligned with business growth and scalability
• Develop and maintain comprehensive:
  • HighLevel Designs (HLDs)
  • LowLevel Designs (LLDs)
• Architect and implement network segmentation strategies using:
  • VLANs
  • VRFs
  • Security zoning
• Redesign access and distribution layer networks for scalability segmentation and resiliency
• Optimize server access and fabric extender architectures

Data Center & Colocation (CoLo)

• Design and deploy colocation (CoLo) data center network infrastructure
• Architect high availability (HA) and redundancy across data center environments
• Plan and execute data center migration initiatives including:
  • Workload placement
  • Transition strategies
  • Cutover planning
• Define Layer 2 and Layer 3 topologies routing boundaries and failover domains
• Design and validate disaster recovery (DR) strategies and failover mechanisms
• Develop and execute resiliency and DR testing procedures

Network Security & Zero Trust

• Architect EastWest and NorthSouth traffic controls using Palo Alto firewalls
• Develop and enforce zonebased firewall policies across:
  • Edge
  • Data Center
  • DMZ
• Implement Zero Trust security principles
• Integrate identitybased controls using Aruba ClearPass
• Ensure secure and optimized traffic flow across onprem and cloud environments

WAN SDWAN & Branch Connectivity

• Design and optimize hybrid WAN architectures (MPLS Internet SDWAN)
• Lead VMware VeloCloud SDWAN deployments including:
  • Applicationaware routing
  • Policybased traffic steering
• Architect highly resilient WAN edge and branch connectivity solutions

Cloud Networking (Azure)

• Design and implement Azure hybrid connectivity using ExpressRoute
• Architect BGP routing and redundancy
• Develop hubandspoke Azure network architectures
• Integrate Azure networks with onpremises infrastructure
• Ensure secure optimized onprem to cloud traffic flow

Load Balancing & Application Delivery

• Design and optimize F5 LTM load balancing solutions
• Implement high availability SSL offloading and application delivery optimization
• Align application delivery with segmented and secure network architecture

Automation Observability & Operations

• Drive network automation initiatives using:
  • Ansible
  • Python
  • NetBrain
• Establish automationfirst practices for configuration deployment and operations
• Implement network observability telemetry and proactive monitoring frameworks
• Improve operational efficiency reliability and meantimetoresolution (MTTR)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• 10 years of experience in network engineering and architecture roles
• Strong experience in enterprise and largescale network environments
• Excellent documentation communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
